Ive kept this product, but hope that they will fix or did fix the problem. Another solution was slamming the mouse down on the table - that is the one most frequently used and also vents my frustration with this products functional flaw-its SCROLL WHEEL. One solution I found in technology forums was to press and hold the scroll wheel, but that rarely works. I had to look up what was causing this undesirable problem and found that it is due to the scroll wheel locking. Also, and this is a MAJOR PROBLEM, the center scroll wheel also will "stick" or "lock" causing tabs in web browsers to close when clicking on them. I have had many days of frustration because when reading PDFs sometimes when I use this mouses scroll wheel to scroll down the page, it keeps scrolling uncontrollably.

However-and this is the only reason I marked it less than a 5-star-it is extremely GLITCHY. From a physical perspective, it is perfect for me. I also wanted a mouse without a cord and it delivered on that. I also liked the simplicity and ergonomics of the design on all sides. On a positive note, Id say that I really liked the shape, size (on the small side-for women this is nice), texture, and feel of the mouse. hoping it would be a quality purchase and reliable and meet my needs. I bought this product for several of its features and due to its brand name. Everything on this site is fast turning to extreme CHEAP in "quality" (chinazon) Ill head to my local Targt store for a replacement and will try to find one NOT made in China. You cannot contact Amazon - or it is hard ot reach an actual human being and this purchase is too old for a standard return so, Ive been had! Make it tough to use a 3 year warranty on a 14 $$ mouse - not worth it and they (MS and Amazon) know it.

The warranty says 3 years - Great! except the MS warranty says to send it back to the seller - Amazon but, Amazon does not have MS, as a warranty vendor, set up for ease of use.

I removed the driver and re-installed such, still not functioning. I replaced the battery with a new one - no difference. *** Do Not Buy *** Yup, Made in China and it has not lasted even 1 year I bought this mouse to replace an identical looking MS mouse that worked as it should for years and this one only lasted 10 months and now it is malfunctioning! The mouse pointer jumps allover the place out of control.
